At Home Avocado Mask

An Easy Avocado Mask to Make at Home

A perfect avocado mask for everyone in the family.

I love this moisture mask because it is so easy to do at home with ingredients you most likely already have.

You can even try a fun family event of making and using this avocado mask recipe.

 

This is what you will need

Blend the following ingredients in a blender until smooth.

1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted.

3 Tablespoons of honey.

1 Tablespoon of camellia oil or other moisturizing serum

1 teaspoon unsweetened yogurt.

Once everything is blended and smooth ~

~Apply a thin layer of this mask over your face and neck.

~Leave on for 5-10 minutes

~Gently wipe off with a warm, soft, moist cloth. (I am a fan of using old flannel sheets cut into washcloth sized pieces...recycle, upcycle, reuse)

This makes a fair amount, so if you have left overs keep it stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a couple of days. (keep in mind that it will turn a bit brown from exposure to oxygen) Use within 2-3 days!

I think this is an easy enough project to do as a family, even with young kids.
