Springtime Skincare Routines

It’s spring!

The time where the buds of bulbs are popping up. The time when we as humans emerge more from our own cozy little beds of comfort.

What happens when we start to emerge?

The first thing many of us notice is how funky our skin can look. Here are a few tips and things to think about so your winter skin emerging can be as gentle as your favorite spring bulbs peeking out.

  • Schedule your last high percentage, and your double peels. They can wait until fall comes around again.
  • More moisture, oh yes, it’s time now to get those deep layers of skin filled with moisture.
  • Receive more microcurrent treatments with your facials. Every 3-4 weeks
  • Add in some concentrates to bring about amplified results of glowing spring skin.
  • Start using serums that rejuvenate your skin cells.

* These tips are for all Fitzpatrick skin types with some variances to best support your beautiful skin,

Why slow down with your higher percentage of peels?

The sun is starting to come out more and the last thing needed on your freshly peeled skin is the sun hitting your dermal and epidermal layers. Yikes, that is just a better way to get some severe sun damage.

Moisturizers that are absorbed into your skin

Use moisturizers that have different molecular cellular sizes. These will absorb into the deeper layers of your skin. Giving more nourishment to the inside of your skins layers.

Electrical currents for your skin

Microcurrent is a low level electrical current that mimics our bodies own cellular currents. It will help to re-educate your muscles, improving the tone. Umm, yes please to better tone!

Target your skin's needs with concentrates

Concentrates are targeted, nutrient rich blends that are used to amplify the goals you have for your skin. These awesome little  concoctions are some of the newest products on the market. They will bring about your desired results quickly, with love and care for your skin type.

*The Fitzpatrick scale and your skin.
This scale was developed in 1975, by Harvard dermatologist Thomas B. Fitzpatrick.  It acts as a way to classify the skin according to the amount of pigment your skin has and your skin's reaction to sun exposure. This information is helpful in determining the amount of sun damage and potential risks of skin cancer to your skin.

If you would like to know more about the Fitzpatrick scale please visit the blog.
